The Get In Touch Youth Ambassador Program℠ empowers high school girls as representatives of The Get In Touch Foundation®. Ambassadors can become community leaders and spread our mission of educating all on the importance of breast health through our Daisy Wheel™ and breast health resources in “Our Toolkit.

What are the responsibilities of a Get In Touch Youth Ambassador?

To introduce the Daisy Wheel Program to your school (if it isn’t already being implemented there) and to other schools in your community.

Raise a minimum of $1,000 for the
Get In Touch Foundation.

How do I introduce the Daisy Wheel to my school and other schools?

You can speak to your school nurse or health educator – we provide resources like our Daisy Wheel© and Our Toolkit!

How do I raise $1,000?

We will provide you with an assortment of ways to “Get Involved,” but hosting a “GIT Your Pink On!”® Day is the most popular way to work towards achieving your fundraising goals of $1,000.

How long is a term?

The term is one year. It will start in September and end in August.

How would I be eligible for the $10,000 Youth Ambassador Collegiate Scholarship?

The School Health/ Get In Touch Youth Ambassador Collegiate Scholarship is awarded in the amount of $10,000 annually to one high school senior girl who has successfully completed her one-year term as a Get In Touch Youth Ambassador, and will be attending a 2-year or 4-year college or university. The award will be distributed directly to the educational institution in increments throughout the duration of the winner’s college career.

Applications for the scholarship will ONLY be provided to girls who have successfully completed their one-year term as a Get In Touch Youth Ambassador.
