You’re probably familiar with The Get In Touch Foundation, which is why you’ve found your way to our blog – but in case you haven’t visited our website, you can find us at www.GetInTouchFoundation.org.
I founded Get In Touch after being diagnosed with breast cancer and looked at my two daughters, who were just turning 12 and 13 at the time, and realized that “breast health” needed to be a part of their lives. I quickly realized that all of our daughters – not just the ones that call me Mom – needed to learn the best breast health practices that would keep them smart and healthy.
Our Get In Touch Girls’ Program & Daisy Wheel breast health initiative teaches girls in grades 5-12 the importance of, and how to do a breast self exam – for life!
I’ve learned a lot and I’ve got a lot to share about the wonderful world of breast health and the incredible world of breast cancer.
My words are simple, optimistic, encouraging and empowering. Feel free to weigh in – this blog is for YOU!
HOPE LIVES!
