In 2004, when Mary Ann Wasil was diagnosed with breast cancer, her mantra was always to “turn lemons into lemonade.” After her diagnosis, she worked tirelessly to fill the void for free breast health education in schools and laid the groundwork for what the organization is today.
Although Mary Ann isn’t here to see what we’ve been able to accomplish, we know she would be proud to see her legacy live on.
